Welcome and thank you for visiting my web site, I hope that you enjoy the images shown in the various galleries and will come back on a regular basis throughout the coming year. All images are best viewed at 16 bit colour or better. Please note that the copyright of all images on this web site resides with the photographer.

I am a keen amateur photographer based in South West London on the Surrey borders, an active member of The Royal Photographic Society, The Disabled Photographers Society and Croydon Camera Club.

The types of medium that I work with can range from monochrome negative through to colour slide, although I am interested in all aspects of photography, from the Old Victorian Processes right through to modern day Digital Imaging techniques.
I prefer to work with black and white film where ever possible as I feel it is better suited for the majority of subject matter that I shoot, it enhances the image along with the printing and helps to convey the mood and atmosphere of the moment.

The early morning images contain little, or a limited range of colour, this reinforces the ending of the cold empty night and celebrates the dawning of the new day ahead, where as the hot molten colours of the sunsets signal the last of the burning light before the final shroud of darkness covers the landscape, signalling the end to yet another day.

If I had to make a choice of my favourite subject, it would have to be Landscape photography with Natural History coming a close second, I enjoy the peace and tranquillity, which in modern day society is becoming ever difficult to find.
